Crucuno is a small town in the south of Brittany, a region with a wealth of neolithic monuments. At a small square stands against a farm one of the most robust dolmen I know. It was once very large, but for practical reasons villagers drastically reduced it in size. Nevertheless, I am impressed when I approach it with my car. It drizzles. I get out and run towards it. I am shocked when it turns out to be full of tourists. They are hiding from the rain. Fortunately they are invisible on the photos that I take of the tough stocky neolithic monument. The shapes of the stones and the structure inspire me. For the first two versions I set the stones as letters in graffiti art; recognizable as stones but with a touch of a modern color.
